Reggae artist, commonly known for his enthusiasm in fashion, Roy View Banda has freshly established an organisation called View Foundations which aims at empowering and uplifting the youths of Malawi in developmental activities.
The Business Management and Entrepreneurship degree holder, a young man of visionary and enthusiastic character in business, Mr Banda has a zealous favour in entrepreneurship and seeks to provide an excellent opportunity to fellow young people through his strategic plans structured with the foundation. Mr Banda says he does not believe in giving fish to a person but rather believes in teaching a person how to fish so that they have fish forever.
The View Foundation tends to hold trainings in various activities such as tailoring, beauty and make up lessons, farming, catering, business management, art, carpentry, et cetera. "We want to produce fashion designers, chefs, artists, carpenters, farmers and other experts as we would like to bring down the level of unemployment by assisting people to engage in self-employment and be able to start up businesses." said Mr Roy View Banda in an interview with Tendai Malata of Urban Malawi.
The View Foundation further looks forward to provide charitable services to the underprivileged citizens of Malawi. The foundation will source funds to help the selected people with tuition fees, the foundation will also make ongoing donations to orphanages and street kids.
Furthermore, Mr Banda describes their choice of colour as green as they would also like to promote environmental awareness and almost every activity will be connected to the ecosystem.
Conclusively, the foundation will soon be registered and will have a website, a platform to showcase their activities and interact with the world. The View Foundation seeks help from all patriotic citizens, the government, and all well wishers across the world to help the foundation make a better future for the current generation.
